When issues arise he has found solutions such as providing information about grants to help with medication coverage. Would recommend him for any insurance needs.

“I called Dave ( our insurance agent) to ask for his help with my brother who...”

I called Dave ( our insurance agent) to ask for his help with my brother who lives in Columbus. He has been fighting cancer for a year and his work insurance has run out. h He signed up for A and B medicare but no supplement – he was told he cannot get it until this fall. Well with his bills he really needs it. He has NO knowledge of medical or insurance issues. He does not want to get help from anyone and is very stubborn. Well I asked him if I could contact my guy ( Dave ) with questions. He actually said yes. Dave set up a 3 way call to discuss and advise him. To make a long story short (kinda) we were on the phone for 2 hours. Dave found out he was on OPERS and he needed to sign up though them. We could have been done in 30 min but he told use if he did not sign up through OPERS he would loose his medicare monthly stipend. He contacted OPERS on the phone ( now 4 way call) and stayed on long enough for my brother to sign up. I am SOOOO thankful – If we had stopped this phone call at any time I know my brother would not have called OPERS back. I cannot thank you enough Dave for your help and kindness. You got NO benefit from this 2 hours but I want you to know my gratitude and thanks and prayers will always be in my heart. Thanks!!!!!

“The thing is he knew what he was doing.”

I am new to Medicare. It is not easy to confuse me but I was confused. One agent told me I could keep the part d carrier I already had and sign up with an advantage plan that had a part d and just not use it. Well I was confused but I didn’t really believe I could have 2 part d plans. I had questions and I talked to EVERYONE. And I had as many different answers as the number of people I talked to. Dave called me back and said we needed to meet. Normally I would run from that but I figured that I really needed the help. And if he could help I decided to give him some time. Well, wow. He actually had a clue. He not only made me clear on what I could expect but he found a plan for me that was far better than I thought I could get. He was obviously excited about the plan but for me I had to read the book he left with me before I realised how great the plan was. He came back the next week and I was ready to sign. The thing is he knew what he was doing. I am not kidding when I say I talked to EVERYONE. I looked for about two months before I found Dave and I can tell you that there are a lot of people who are answering questions who do not have a clue. People who are supposed to be experts did not know what they were talking about. I was to the point where I was desperate to know what to believe so that I could even pick a plan. Dave went to a lot of trouble verifying information he had a hunch on to get me on a type of plan I had not even considered. Then he went to a lot of trouble getting information for my Mom to switch her to a better plan. Amazingly enough, I found someone to help who had a clue.
