But the Sky isn’t Falling – If you Work with a Dedicated Agent
For better or worse, we find ourselves at a time in which fear and panic are used to get us to react, respond, and comment in almost every aspect of life. Whether it is politics, the media, or most national-level marketing campaigns there are undercurrents of fear that largely come in the form of if you don’t pick me or do this, something consequential will happen.
When it comes to this fear-based motivational force, Medicare is the perfect confluence combining politics, media, and marketing all in one giant, time-based model of pushing consumers in one direction or another. We routinely meet individuals experiencing the fear of missing out (FOMO) over nationally advertised Medicare Insurance Plan benefits that are often only available under very specific circumstances that are buried within the fine print.
Without question – there will be substantial changes in the Medicare Insurance industry for some individuals, it not many. However, the well-informed beneficiary will be able to navigate these changes with understanding and preparedness while ensuring their choices are the most economical and benefit rich for the 2026 plan year.
I know it is somewhat arbitrary for me to be constantly talking about the advantages or working with a dedicated independent licensed agent, because I am one. The thing is, I believe to the core of my being that every Medicare beneficiary is best served by a dedicated licensed agent who has superior knowledge of that individual’s needs, is well trained on ALL of the available coverage options in the individual’s area, and is committed to being that individual’s agent, advocate, and change navigator for the long haul. For anyone on Medicare, changes will continue to be something that we contend with, but it is fundamentally different when you have a lasting relationship with an agent who knows you and cares about you.
As we enter the season of Medicare Marketing Madness, we are here to help you prepare for the changes that are to come. Over the next few weeks, stay tuned for our Medicare BOLO Series. We will be sharing some articles like this in addition to short social media posts, and podcasts covering some of the potential changes you should Be On the Lookout for as we approach the Annual Enrollment Period.
In the meantime, if you are hearing things that have you concerned about what is to come, feel free to reach out. That is what we are here for!
